Valerie Gillies is an entertainer as a solo musician. The music mix can be custom-tailored to your event. Val is available for private parties and functions, as well as festivals and events.

    As a live musician, Val plays acoustic guitar and can sing over 500 selections ranging from old-time sing-along to country, folk, pop, soft rock and children's songs. Books of titles are available to hand out to small to medium crowds, enabling people to make requests. Additional seasonal or gospel music is avaialable.

    Flying Solo is Val's first CD, composed entirely of songs that she has written. Tracks can be heard by following the "Songwriter Tracks" link below. Visit the "Writer" page on this site for more information on collaborative songwriting.
